This exhibition Bound for Glory was compiled by the Library of Congress and is a collection of rare color images from the Farm Security Administration.
The online exhibition is an abbreviated version of the original collection (1,602 color photographs).
- The goal of this collection is to show a broader range of the FSA photographers.
- The information given for each photograph is brief, however there is collection information that the viewer can use to search the Libraries catalog, giving them better information. (although perhaps not on the intended image)
- The objects in this gallery are all photographs from the 1940s.
- The intended audience is researchers and teachers. The photographs have been linked to the Library of Congress image collection in order to do further research on other photographs. There is also a link for teachers to other collections, and scheduled talks to help them build a better lesson plan.
