No information is given regarding the digitization process for this specific group of items. However, the webpage Standards at the Library of Congress gives a list of the formats, standards and protocols used at the Library.
Object Characteristic
Though the website gives a checklist of the objects used in the online exhibition no further information is given about the size, resolution or file format of the digital objects. Most of the digital images on the website are jpegs with dimensions of approximately 450x650 pixels. Each full size image carries a “Herblock” watermark indicating the intellectual property rights which are owned by the Herb Block Foundation.
Intended Audience
The exhibition is accessible to the general public. And is used as both and educational resource and a promotional tool for the physical exhibition just recently on display at the Library of Congress.
