It is inspiring and touching at the same time how the enthusiasm and passion of the Wright brothers for flight made our airplane possible. Numerous experiments finally brought their flight to reality in 1903. The picture on the left-hand side shows Lillienthal's methods of finding balance & control and is one of those experiments that fell through yet very learning, adding to their valuable experience for flight.
