Collection Principles: Before the invention of television in the 1950s, radio programming was one of the primary forms of entertainment. Familes gathered together around the radio, anxious to hear the latest installment of Superman, Gunsmoke or maybe Sherlock Holmes. RadioLovers.com includes shows for which copyrights have expired as well as shows currently in the public domain because they never were copyrighted.
